Begin by locating the chassis–the backbone of your model. Most 1/10 scale kits use a modular platform with pre-drilled mounting points for electronics, suspension, and drivetrain. Check the underside for reinforcement ribs; these indicate stress zones where upgrades (like aluminum braces) will extend durability. Avoid cheap plastic frames if your setup involves high-torque motors or aggressive bashing–opt for carbon fiber or anodized aluminum instead.
